散村地域研究所主催のフォーラムに参加した後、砺波市五郎丸地区にて、伝統住居の変容過程について実測調査及び聞き取り調査を行いました。砺波平野には散居村や屋敷林をもつ伝統住居など独特の田園景観や住居形式が見られます。これらが、社会構造や生活環境の変化の中で今後どのように継承可能かを模索するため、2016年から開始した共同研究プロジェクトで、今年度も継続的に取り組んでいきます。 

We first attended a forum conducted by the “Research Institute of Sparse Village”. Later on the same day, we conducted measurements and interview surveys related to the changes done on the traditional houses in the Goromaru area in Tonami-shi, Toyama. There are various features characteristic of the area: scattered houses, forests type vegetation surrounding the residences, and traditional houses. This research started last year, it is aiming to understand the changes done on the houses along with pattern of life analysis of the local people. We will continue to investigate the area throughout the upcoming year.
