2023年7月5日、西条高校訪問の後、西条市の千町棚田で建てられた千町BGHを再訪しました。このBGHは2020年12月に集落住民、棚田再生活動をおこなう西前研究室と、私どもの研究室メンバーが共同し完成したもので、現在で2年半程経っています。虫食いなど少し見られましたが、オーナーのトモさんは耐風補強を施し、ブドウやトマトなど山間集落で活発に栽培作業をおこなっていました。

On July 5, 2023, we revisited the Senjo Bamboo Green House (BGH) built in the Senjo terraced rice fields of Saijo City. This BGH was completed in December 2020 in collaboration with local residents, the Labolatory of Regional Planning, which is engaged in terraced rice field restoration activities, and members of our laboratory, and is now about 2.5 years old. Although there were a few insect infestations, the owner, Mr. Tomo, had reinforced the terraces against the wind and was actively engaged in cultivating grapes and tomatoes.
