インドネシアのボゴール農業大学にて、ボゴール農業大学及び京都大学主催「アジアにおける地球環境学研究教育の国際シンポジウム」が開催されました。若手研究者の研究紹介のセッションにおいて博士課程３年の宮地茉莉がフィジーで取り組んでいる研究について発表し、ポスターセッションでは宮地、修士課程2年の浜辺里美と修士課程1年のヴェイタタ･サイニメレが各々の研究について発表しました。また、12月2日のスタディ･ツアーでは、熱帯雨林のキャノピーウォーキングとエコ･ツーリズムを行う農村を訪れました。

Mari Miyaji(D3), Satomi Hamabe(M2) and Sainimere Veitata(M1) presented their research at IPB and KU International Symposium on the Education & Research of the Global Environmental Studies in Asia. Mari Miyaji presented the result of field surveys in Fiji at the session of young researchers on 1st December. At the session of poster presentation, Mari Miyaji, Satomi Hamabe and Sainimere Veitata presented their own research. On 2nd December, they joined the study tour and visited tropical rain forest and local village.
