小林准教授がサブマネージャーを務めるJICA草の根パートナー型事業「タンナ島における在来建築技術の高度化支援（マネージャー：京都大学防災研究所・西嶋准教授）」の一環として、2015年にサイクロン・パムによる多大な被害を受けたタンナ島において住居被害と再建状況を把握するためにアンケート調査を行いました。また、災害復興に関する情報について関係省庁やNGOに聞き取り調査を行いました。

Mari Miyaji (D2) conducted the questionnaire survey in Tanna island, Vanuatu in order to comprehend the extent of damage from Tropical cyclone Pam in 2015 and the current situation. This survey contributes to the JICA grass-root project as “Advancement of Vernacular Constructions in Tanna Island in Vanuatu”.
