2023年8月22日、研究員の平塚さん、M2小林君と京都大学芦生研究林を視察しました。現在フィールド科学教育センターでは、かなり老朽化している本研究林の様々な施設を更新する計画を立案中で、私たちも建築計画の側面からサポートしています。今回の計画では地域の資源利用、地域の人々との共同をコンセプトに取り入れていることから、京北町の木材センター、芦生研究林近くの美山北村も視察しました。いよいよ具体的な計画に入っていきます。しかし、本当に暑い1日でした・・・。

On August 22, 2023, we visited the Ashiu Forest Research Station, Field Science Education and Research Center, Kyoto University. Currently, the Field Science Education and Research Center is planning to renovate various facilities here that have deteriorated considerably, and we are also providing support from the construction planning aspect. Since this plan includes the concept of using local resources and working with local people, we also visited the Hokusou Wood Market in Keihoku Town and Miyama Kayabuki no sato Kitamura near the Ashiu Forest Research Station.
