小林広英教授, Prof. H. Kobayashi

2023年5月9日CLT(Cross Laminated Timber)の生産で有名な岡山県真庭市の銘建工業を訪問しました。知り合いの構造家・桝田洋子さんが設計された本社も見させてもらいましたが、写真よりも開放感があり、ものすごく完成度が高くチャレンジングな建築でした。

On May 9, 2023, I visited Meiken Kogyo in Maniwa City, Okayama Prefecture, which is famous for producing CLT (Cross Laminated Timber). I was also shown their headquarters designed by structural engineer Yoko Masuda. The building has a sense of openness and a very high degree of perfection, making it a challenging building.
