昨年度、兵庫県篠山市福住で取り組んでいたBamboo Bus Stop Project（竹でバス停をデザイン・改修するプロジェクト）を同地区の「原山口」でも行います。何度も協議して決めたデザイン案の最終確認を10月11日に地域の方と行いました。また、福住地区は伝統建築物群保存地区に指定されているため、10月17日にまちなみ保存会に最終デザイン案のプレゼンを行い、建設の許可を得ました。11月中旬より最終デザイン案をもとに施工を始めます。

In addition to ‘The Bamboo Bus Stop Project’ that the lab was involved in last year, we are now looking to design and renovate bus stops at” HARAYAMAGUCHI-Station” which is also in Fukusumi, Sasayama City, Hyogo Prefecture. The process involved numerous, discussing with local people to confirm the final design on 11th October. After that, we presented it to the Conference for Preservation of Cityscapes and fortunately passed their examination on 17th October. This is because Fukuzumi area is designated as an Important preservation district of historic buildings. We will start to renovate the bus-stop according to the final design from November.
